A beautiful, Georgian market town, Lymington is situated on the southern edge of the New Forest, between Southampton and Bournemouth and at the western end of the Solent.
The ancient seaport and historic market town was once of great importance and played a major part in the defence of the south coast against the French invasion. The Saturday market is held in the High Street where you will find shops, traditional tea shops, pubs and restaurants. Our return will take us through the delightful New Forest countryside.
